Welcome to the Mindful Kids Belfast blog!

We’re thrilled to have you here as we begin our journey in sharing the benefits of mindfulness with children and families across Belfast and beyond.


Who We Are

At Mindful Kids Belfast, we’re passionate about helping young people discover the tools they need to nurture calm, confidence, and emotional resilience. Our founder, Lydia, combines her background in education with extensive training in mindfulness to create supportive, engaging sessions that meet the unique needs of each child. From one-to-one sessions to school groups and family workshops, we provide a safe and welcoming space for children to explore their emotions, build self-awareness, and learn valuable strategies for managing life’s ups and downs.


What We Do

Our mindfulness sessions are designed for kids of all ages and focus on empowering children with practical techniques they can use every day. Through interactive activities like breathing exercises, simple yoga sequences, visualization practices, and creative journaling, we introduce children to mindfulness in a fun and accessible way. Whether we’re helping a young child build emotional resilience, guiding a group of students through stress relief techniques, or leading a family mindfulness workshop, our goal is to support children in developing lifelong tools for mental and emotional well-being.
